Holi recipe: Colourful Pacman dumplingsHoli is associated with all things sweet but here's your chance to break the tradition. Bring together the goodness of colours and flavours of delicious dumplings to celebrate this year's Holi the Pac-Man way.

Brace yourself as the enemies Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde come alive on your plate and try to tempt you to gobble them up one by one. Serve them as starters at your Holi party and get everyone grooving to the mouth-watering bites.

Ingredients

For filling
Water Chestnut 50 gm
Broccoli 200 gm
Carrot 100 gm
Bok Choy 100 gm
Salt to taste
Monosodium glutamate (MSG) 10-15 gm
White pepper powder 1-2 gm
Sesame Oil 2 tea spoon
Potato starch 25 gm

For outer layer
Potato starch 100 gm
Wheat starch 200 gm

For colour
Orange - Beetroot juice in the dough
Green - Natural green food colour in the dough.

Method
1. Mix all ingredients for the filling in the order of sequence and blanch them to give them a crispy feel. Then, saute them for about 2 minutes.

2. Add potato starch and finish off by dribbling some sesame oil.

3. For the outer skin, make the dough using potato starch flour and wheat flour. Cut the dough into small balls and roll it into the shape of Pac-Man characters filled with a portion of the mixture.

4. To steam the dim sums, boil water in a large vessel and float a small bowl inside the boiling water with the dim sums. Close the lid and let it steam for at least 10 minutes. Serve hot!
